"To the harvest" and "Autumn night,  travel offers at Château Cordeillan-bages !

 

 

 

Beginning in September 2014, the Relais & Châteaux Cordeillan-Bages in Pauillac will offer two seasonal stays, To the Harvest and Autumn Night.

From 15th September to 15th October, Château Cordeillan-Bages will open its doors to wine aficionados for the harvest season. To the Harvest invites guests to go behind the scenes. It is the perfect occasion to enjoy two Michelin-starred chef Jean-Luc Rocha’s culinary classics, reinterpreted for the season with staples such as the caviar of Aquitaine, oysters, the fois gras from Les Landes with fresh figs as well as a Fraîcheur red fruit dessert inspired by artist Pierre Alechinsky’s work, ‘Octave,’ on exhibit at Château Lynch-Bages.

To the Harvest includes :

-    A gourmand welcome in room

-    Two nights in a superior room with buffet breakfast

-    A three-course menu (starter, main, dessert) at two Michelin-starred restaurant Cordeillan-Bages 

-    A bespoke tour of Château Lynch-Bages, a Pauillac classified growth, its XIXth Century vat and modern art exhibit “Pierre Alechinsky: au fil des saisons”

-    A 2h30 wine tasting course The Art of Wine Blending

-    A half-day of bicycle rental to discover the vineyard and meet harvesters (based on availabilities and date of harvest)

From 16th October to 30th November, Château Cordeillan-Bages offers an Autumn Night stay: an invitation to be seduced by chef Jean-Luc Rocha’s cuisine and the signature dishes of the season, showcasing the best of the region’s mushrooms and game.

Autumn Night includes :

-    A special ‘culinary welcome’ of fluted chocolate

-    A night in a superior room with buffet breakfast

-    A bespoke tour of Château Lynch-Bages, a Pauillac classified growth, its XIXth Century vat and modern art exhibit “Pierre Alechinsky: au fil des saisons”

With any dinner reservation, a glass of champagne will be offered to the ladies as well as a tour of chef Jean-Luc Rocha’s kitchen.
